Since Shannon took office in January of 2012, the violent crime rates in Henrico County have plummeted.
With her successful prosecutions and innovative reforms, Shannon has ensured that those who need treatment for disease aren’t treated like violent criminals.
Shannon works diligently with the Police Chief and Henrico County Manager to ensure that Henrico County remains the best place to live, work, and raise a family.
Shannon cultivates relationships throughout Henrico County Government to make sure that all departments are working together to best serve the people she represents, and works each and every day to keep violent crime off the streets.
Shannon is not a behind-the-desk Commonwealth’s Attorney.
Whether its speaking in schools across the county, participating in Parent-Teacher-Student Organization events, attending community-led festivals and programs, or visiting neighborhood places of worship, Shannon keeps Henrico safe by being available, accessible, and visible to the citizens of Henrico, all while maintaining a constant presence in the courtroom.
